Linda's Produce has been a mainstay for fresh produce in the Chattanooga area since 1992. Our open-air retail and wholesale fruit and vegetable market features fresh local produce during the local harvest season. When not in season locally, we seek out and bring in fresh produce following the grow line from Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, Kentucky and Indiana throughout the year.

Bedding Plants, hanging baskets, ferns, tropical plants, straw, mums, pumpkins, fall decorations, fruit baskets and fresh-cut Christmas trees can also be found at Linda's.

Our Business

The original Linda's Fruit Stand in East Ridge was opened by Linda and Terry Ramey in the Spring of 1992 after Linda was laid off from a local clothing factory. A discussion about thier future led the idea of opening a fruit stand--after all, it would be a natural fit for the Ramey family, who had been farming tomatoes, strawberries, peppers, okra, squash and cucumbers in the Hamilton County area for more than 40 years.

Terry found an ideal location just by the tunnels on Ringgold Road and set up a few tables under a shed. Utilizing thier farming experience, they stocked thier tables daily with the freshest produce they could find. Thier business flourished as a result of focusing on the goal of supporting local farmers while providing a friendly hometown environment where customers can always find fresh, quality produce at low prices.

The popularity of Linda's in East Ridge grew so much that in the Spring of 2003, the Ramey's son and daughter-in-law Mark and Vanessa Ramey opened the Highway 58 location in the Harrison area. Working closely with his father and using his knowledge from his days growing up working in the fields, Mark applied the same principals to the business on Highway 58 as his parents did to the East Ridge location. The Highway 58 location has now grown into a regular stop for residents in the Harrison and Ooltewah communities.

Linda’s prides itself on having the best customers. Some of our customers have shopped with us since we have been open and we know many of them by name. We love our customers and try to keep them happy and their loyalty really shows. They have voted us Readers choice and Best of the Best multiple times over the years.
